Cartoon man walking HorseParticipate in the Cloverbuds Program, a special program for youth 5 – 7 years of age! Special manuals, educational experiences and show classes are offered. The NC 4-H Horse Program Cloverbud Manual is a manual designed just for youth 5 to 7 years of age and the supplement entitled the NC 4-H Horse Program Cloverbud Manual Leader’s Guide is a guide for the Horse Leader/Parent to assist cloverbuds in learning about horses. Additional classes are offered at the North Carolina State 4-H Horse Show for cloverbuds and cloverbuds are eligible to participate in the following Artistic Expression contests: Craft Horse, Horse Drawing, Horse Painting, Horse Poster and Horse Photography.
