Collapse ▲The 2022 NC State 4-H Horsebowl contest was held on March 12 at North Carolina State University. A total of thirty-three teams from across the state competed in the double-elimination event.
The junior division champions were Rutherford county, coached by Cindy Dotson. High individual honors went to Chloe Oaks from Avery county.
Cabarrus county’s mixed team, coached by Kristen Kaus, captured first place. Sori Suthers from Currituck county was named the high individual in the division.
The champion senior team hailed from Wake county and was coached by Beth Morgan. Chatham county 4-H’er Kyra Worth earned the high-scoring senior individual award.
