The NC 4-H Recreational Riding Rewards Program celebrates the commitment of members who spend time enjoying their equine partners outside of the show ring. This program recognizes riders who log recreational hours to earn cumulative state-level awards. Arena riding, lesson hours, and horse show hours are not eligible for these awards.
Hours logged are cumulative from year to year and will be added over time to achieve the levels of recognition. 2027 applications are due March 2 (for hours earned in 2026).
Thank you to the Dale Earnhardt Foundation for sponsoring these awards, which were presented during the Friday evening opening ceremonies at the 2026 NC State 4-H Horse Show.
Congratulations to the following members who reached a new milestone in 2026 based on hours accumulated between 2021 and 2025!
