2026 NC State 4-H Horse Show Results

The NC 4-H Horse Program is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the 2026 NC State 4-H Horse Show, hosted at the James B. Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh. The event brought together 269 horse-and-rider combinations representing 39 counties across North Carolina, competing in 21 diverse divisions. Across 148 classes, an impressive total of 1,629 entry submissions showcased the dedication, talent, and sportsmanship of our state's 4-H youth. New to the show this year were classes specifically for Miniature horses and a slate of Drill Team classes.

This year's show was dedicated to Wayne Moore, longtime Sampson County volunteer, in recognition of his thirty-year involvement with the NC State 4-H Horse Program and State 4-H Horse Show.

Champions in each division were awarded belt buckles and tri-color ribbons, while reserve champions received embroidered bridle bags and tri-color ribbons. The champions of the popular versatility classes were presented with bicycles generously donated by J & D Bedding, along with neck ribbons. In Dressage, high ride winners were honored with engraved portable speakers.
