The 2026 Alumni Showmanship class, held during the Saturday evening of the NC State 4-H Horse Show, was one for the history books! Thanks to our incredible 4-H family and supporters, we shattered records this year by raising an astounding $7,884.00! This brings the seven-year total of this fundraiser class to an incredible $26,767.00! Every single dollar raised goes directly to providing scholarships to deserving NC 4-H Horse Program members as they pursue educational events, clinics, camps, and shows.

A massive round of applause goes to our Sponsorship Challenge winner, Samantha Taylor from Union County, who set a new record by raising an incredible $2,400! Her outstanding effort was generously matched dollar-for-dollar by Beth Morgan, Realtor with Coldwell Banker Advantage. We are beyond grateful for Beth’s unbelievable generosity and Samantha's dedication!

The competition in the arena was just as exciting!

• Class Champion: Congratulations to Harnett County alumnus Greyson Marshall, who took top honors showing Party In The Breeze!

• Most Fly Alumni: For the third consecutive year, and officially retiring the legendary "Rhinestoned Challis," Bill Crouse stole the show! Clad in hospital attire and an arm sling, Bill clogged his way through his pattern to "Man of Constant Sorrow" blaring over the loudspeakers.

Year after year, the Alumni Showmanship class is the absolute highlight of the week. To all of our hilarious, hard-working alumni and every generous donor who believes in our youth: THANK YOU! We couldn't do this without your incredible spirit and support.
