Youth from across North Carolina gathered at Enloe High School in Raleigh on July 22 for the 2025 NC 4-H Horse Program Communications Contests, held during the annual NC 4-H Congress. These talented young competitors had already earned their places at the state-level competition by excelling in their respective District Activity Days. They showcased their knowledge and communication skills in both presentations and public speaking, demonstrating their dedication to the equine industry and their commitment to personal growth.
The NC 4-H Horse Program Communications Contests provide an opportunity for youth to delve into a topic of interest, develop a clear and concise presentation or speech, and deliver it confidently to an audience. These skills are invaluable, not only for their future careers but also for their development as effective leaders and communicators in their communities.
Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and dedication. The North Carolina 4-H program is proud of every member who embraced this challenge and represented their communities with excellence.
