The NC 4-H Horse Program had 32 exhibitors compete and place in the Western, Hunter, Ranch, Speed, and Dressage divisions at the 2023 Southern Regional 4-H Horse Championships in Perry, Georgia. In the overall high-point standings, five NC 4-H'ers landed in the top five of their divisions. Cayden Lowe finished fifth in Western, Hannah Mennig, and Lily Drake were third and fifth in Ranch, and in the Hunter division, Madi Blanton and JW Lynch captured second and fourth overall.
