2025 Alumni Showmanship Class Results

On Saturday, July 12, thirteen alumni competed in the 6th Annual NC State 4-H Alumni Showmanship Class, held during the evening program of the NC State 4-H Horse Show. The event raised $3,020 in scholarship money, bringing the total raised over six years to $18,883. The funds will be distributed to the five District 4-H horse councils to provide scholarships and financial aid for deserving NC 4-H members who want to participate in educational events, clinics, camps, or shows.

Nash County 4-H alumnus Coy Herbert, AKA Woody from Toy Story, won the class with Don’t Kid Me Missy. Performing her best Bill Crouse impersonation, Alaina Cross and Double Beam clogged their way to a second-place finish. Speaking of Bill Crouse, the Rockingham County leader won his second consecutive “Most Fly Alumni” award with his crowd-pleasing rendition of Elvis. Samantha Taylor captured the sponsorship challenge prize by raising $1360.00.
