Forage Management Strategies to Reduce Fescue Toxicity Workshops

The Amazing Grazing Pasture-Based Livestock Education Program has four workshops planned which focus on forage management strategies to reduce fescue toxicity. All workshops will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Each workshop will cover the same core topics:
- Fescue Toxicosis Overview
- Metsulfuron for seedhead suppression
- Stockpiling Tall Fescue for winter grazing
- Warm season grazing alternatives
- Optimizing fertilizer inputs
- Clover establishment
- Renovation to Novel endophyte Tall Fescue
