Equine Health Symposium

The NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine is hosting an Equine Health Symposium February 28-March 1, 2015. The Symposium will feature hot topics in Equine Medicine, for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary students. There will be formal lectures, round-table discussions, and demonstrations on dynamic endoscopy and taking/interpreting images of the head and neck.

On, March 1st the Symposium will focus on preventative health, for owners, caretakers, and riders. There will be formal lectures and an opportunity to tour the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and meet the NCSU-CVM faculty. Topics will include: targeted deworming, caring for the geriatric horse, skin tumors, upper airway disease, insurance, comparative anatomy, ophthalmology.
